To ensure we’re all on the same page, its important that you understand Our Terms. Housenote Interior Design is owned and operated by Housenote Pty Ltd. Our Terms set out an agreement between you and Housenote Pty Ltd that you unreservedly accept upon use of our website’. This includes the purchase of goods and services from us. We therefore ask you to please read Our Terms thoroughly.
Housenote Pty Ltd may modify Our Terms on occasion, however the current version will always be shown on our website. If you do not agree to Our Terms, you must not use our website.
Our Products and Services
We work hard to ensure that all products and services on our website are accurately described. We also rely on information provided by our suppliers. From time to time there may be information on our website that contains errors or omissions and we reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions at any time, including after you have placed an order. Errors could relate to product descriptions, pricing and availability. We endeavour to ensure product images are an accurate representation of the actual product. Hand-made products can have slight variations. Also you should be aware that colours may appear slightly differently on different displays and screens. The change in colour from screen to screen is not a fault or error on behalf of Housenote Pty Ltd. Returns made due to colour discrepancy will be treated according to Our Terms for Change of Mind returns. With Change of Mind returns freight costs are at the purchaser’s expense.
Occasionally our suppliers are unable to deliver a product to us, or the products delivered do not meet our quality standards. We may therefore remove products from our website at any time. We endeavour to process all orders, however under exceptional circumstances we may be unable to process an order and reserve the right to do so at our sole discretion.
Once Housenote Pty Ltd processes your payment we will provide an order confirmation by email. This does not guarantee that the products you have ordered are available. In the event that a product is out of stock, we will email or call you to give you an indication of availability and anticipated delivery time. If you have paid for an item that is not available you will be offered a full refund.
In the event that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment or suspect fraudulent activity, we reserve the right to refuse to process the order. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time at our discretion.
All prices shown on our website are in Australian dollars, include 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) and are exclusive of delivery charges. Delivery prices will be quoted separately upon check out and are dependent on the weight and size of your order in combination with your location. We reserve the right to change our prices and changes are effective immediately upon posting to our website. Retail prices are set based on wholesale direction and the intent to offer fair, competitive pricing in the Australian retail market.
Housenote Pty Ltd’s credit card payment provider has achieved the most stringent level of security certification available in the payments industry. We do not permanently store your credit card information. We will not be liable for any damages or losses (whether direct or indirect) caused if a member’s card is used fraudulently.
In an effort to prevent fraudulent use of credit cards or other payment options, we will undertake reasonable efforts to validate the legitimacy of the order and payment method. However, we do not guarantee that we can prevent the fraudulent use of such information by unauthorised third parties.
At Housenote Interior Design we partner with reputable delivery and courier companies to provide you with reliable, timely and trusted services. Delivery fees are calculated according to your delivery address and the size and weight of your order. The delivery price for your order will be displayed during the checkout process and the amount will be included in the total price of your order. Delivery estimates are based on delivery to your front door or the ground floor of an apartment building.
Delivery times can vary depending on the product. Items are generally dispatched within 24 to 72 business hours. We aim to process all orders in a timely fashion. Occasionally delivery times exceed our anticipated times frames; in such events we will advise you of any unexpected delays.
We work with a number of delivery partners to ensure nationwide coverage. We advise you to contact the delivery partner you select at checkout to inquire about insurance and liability. Liability may pass to you on commencement of delivery. We do not accept liability for any loss, theft or damage to the products during or after delivery.
Please be advised that we cannot deliver to PO boxes.
Deliveries are made during business hours. If you are unable to be present to sign for your delivery, please ensure you give permission for your item to be left in a specific location when placing your order. Alternatively, our delivery partners will leave a card at your address advising you to either collect your delivery from an Australia Post outlet or contact the courier company to arrange a re-delivery.
We reserve the right to refuse delivery to any locations that are inaccessible to our delivery partners or that we deem at high risk of loss or damage to goods. In such instances you may choose to use your own courier company or alternatively your purchase will be refunded in full.
Please ensure that your delivery information is correct before completing your order. If the address provided is incorrect and the package is returned, you will be charged for any additional delivery services required. By placing an order with us you have agreed to these terms.
Please ensure you provide a contact phone number, should our delivery partner need to contact you.
Returns – Damaged or Faulty Goods
Please unpack and inspect all of your goods immediately upon receipt. In the unlikely event that your purchase is damaged or faulty, please contact Housenote Interior Design within 48 hours of receiving your items at email@example.com. We will require a detailed description of the damage, photos showing the damage along with your contact details and order number. Once the photos and details of the damage have been assessed and approved we may then arrange collection of the faulty item, following which we will give you the option of a replacement, a showroom credit or a full refund.
Please be advised that we will not refund or replace products that we reasonably believe were damaged due to misuse, undue wear and tear, failure to use in accordance with the instructions or failure to take reasonable care.
Returns – Change of Mind
At Housenote Interior Design we understand that ordering goods online is a little different to purchasing in store, so we give you peace of mind by offering a 7-day return policy for change of mind purchases. Your purchase must be returned in its original packaging and in ‘as-new’ condition. Please be advised that we cannot refund the cost of shipping and the return shipping expense will be deducted from the refund amount of your returned item. To request a return please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of receiving your order.
Once we have received your item and confirmed it is in ‘as-new’ condition, we will issue you with a refund or store credit of the purchase price less the initial delivery fees and return delivery fee. Please note we will not accept any returns delivered in person to our offices.
We update our website regularly and may change content at any time. We aim to ensure information is accurate and reserve the right to modify content once an inaccuracy is brought to our attention. If the need arises, we may shut down our website temporarily or indefinitely.
At times our website may post links to websites owned by third parties. These links are provided for your convenience. Housenote Pty. Ltd is not responsible or liable for the accuracy, security, or legality of the content on third party websites.
By using our website you consent to receive written communication from us electronically, which includes email communication and communications published on our website.
We’re committed to engaging with those interested in interior design, décor and styling via social media. We welcome comments and contributions on our social media pages, however we expect contributions to remain on topic – all things, home, décor, interiors and style. We’ll delete posts we consider spam, advertising, offensive, sexually or otherwise inappropriate, threatening, abusive, hateful or defamatory. We reserve the right to address factual errors or delete posts we feel are inappropriate.
We’re happy for our material to be shared on social media provided it is attributed to us. You should not copy our material as your own, post it without attribution or use it for commercial purposes. We reserve the right to ban users who do not abide by Our Terms.
When using our website and associated social media sites you must not engage in any unlawful activities. You are required to use our site in accordance with Our Terms.
